Made with beef from our own farm and from Ivan Holmes up near Rievaulx. We use chuck and shin — cuts with flavour that hold up to a slow cook. The meat’s tender, the gravy’s rich, and it’s all wrapped in golden pastry made here in the shop. No shortcuts. Just a proper steak pie.

Serves 2 to 3. Goes well with chips, peas, or whatever you’ve got to hand. Good hot dinner. Even better if there’s gravy.
