Sliced and packed in 5–6 slice packs, about 250 grams each. Our ham comes from Yorkshire-cured gammons, gently boiled and roasted by hand. No fancy extras — just good pork, a proper cure, and time-honoured cooking.
We call it ‘famous’ because it’s been a local favourite for over 150 years. People keep coming back for the straightforward flavour that speaks for itself.
Packs are sold on an average weight basis (250g ℮).
Let the ham rest at room temperature for 10–15 minutes after opening. It lets the flavours settle and come through better.
This ham is just right for a proper British breakfast. Try it with eggs and chips, the old-school way with chips fried in lard, if you’re feeling traditional.
