A long pork pie is exactly that. The same seasoned Appleton’s pork pie filling in a crisp hot water crust, but baked in a long tin rather than round. It slices neatly, making it ideal for a long table: Christmas Eve supper, Boxing Day lunch, or a generous Christmas morning breakfast.
It’s a large, handsome pie that feeds a crowd and sits well alongside cold cuts, pickles and cheese. A fine centrepiece for the festive table.
