Our award-winning Yorkshire herb-fed turkeys come from Shires Farm, near Easingwold, and are raised free range across 25 acres. They start life under heat lamps, then move outside to roam, dust-bathe, and forage naturally. They eat a mix of grains and fresh herbs, which they peck at themselves, and it shows in the flavour. Handled with care from farm to shop, the meat is tender and full of character. This is a turkey that’s been properly looked after from day one.

Cooking Tips:
Preheat the oven to 160°C. Rub butter under the skin and season well. Roast for around 40 minutes per kilo, basting now and then. Check the thickest part of the breast reaches 75°C. Rest for 45-60 minutes before carving. Clean carving, tender meat, the way it ought to be.
