Chipolatas, with their roots in French and Italian culinary traditions, are now a firm British favourite and a delightful addition to any meal. These slim sausages are appreciated for their fine texture and subtle, rich flavour. While commonly enjoyed as breakfast sausages, they also bring a distinct taste to various dishes like stews, casseroles, and pasta, enhancing the overall flavour of your meals.

Chipolata Sausage Cooking Tips:
Add a splash of oil to a frying pan over medium to low heat. Add the chipolatas, but don’t overcrowd the pan, and turn every 90 seconds. Wait until the sausages are a deep golden brown and the insides are pale. 

Chipolata Sausage Recipe Ideas:
For a quick and satisfying meal, cook the chipolatas and place them in a warm, buttered baguette spread with mustard. Add some rocket for a peppery bite. Alternatively, wrap the chipolatas in our streaky bacon and include them as part of your Sunday roast.
